This April cour has seen some good anime releases, particularly in the action and adventure genres. Let's take a look at the anime lineup for Isekai Monday:

1. Tsukimichi: Moonlight Season 2: This anime, which started airing in the first cour of January, is a known Isekai from its first season. It was well-received for its balanced story and action. And now, with its second season, there is a difference as this season focuses more on world-building, introducing us to the lives of other heroes who were summoned here and received goddess blessings. We see how their lives unfold in this world, with fewer intense action scenes but more character development. This season has introduced many new characters, including heroes, adventurers, demons, and students from the academy, where Kuzunoha was supposed to learn but instead, he is teaching. Currently, there is less action, but it seems some good fighting scenes are coming up. So, go ahead and watch it.

2. Chillin' in Another World with Level 2 Super Cheat Powers: As I mentioned, this is another Isekai airing on Isekai Monday. The main character, a merchant in his world, was the only one who treated demihumans with respect and without discrimination. However, he gets summoned as a hero in another world, but with low stats. The king tries to get rid of him by sending him to a forest, the main force of Demon Kings. From there, his story unfolds as he levels up and gains an infinity symbol on every stat, though he doesn't understand its meaning. Like other Isekai, he joins the adventure guild and embarks on missions. This anime has a good story that keeps you entertained, blending slice-of-life moments with action. It seems he will eventually fight the demon lord. Overall, it boasts good animation, a compelling story, and proper pacing, leaving viewers eager for the next episode.

3. Remonster: Another Isekai Monday anime, this series follows the story of a main character who died in his world but retains his magical abilities, which allow him to gain the skills of anything he consumes. Reborn as a goblin in another world, he discovers that goblins have a short lifespan and evolve quickly. Through his daily life in a goblin village, viewers witness his rapid growth and the evolution of his brothers. The anime offers engaging storytelling, accompanied by good animation and a leveling-up system that keeps viewers invested in their evolution. Overall, it's a good anime to watch.

4. I Was Reincarnated as 7th Prince: Another Isekai with a reincarnation theme, this anime follows the story of a protagonist who died in his previous life by the hands of a powerful sorcerer. Reborn as the 7th prince with immense mana, he decides to learn various kinds of magic from a young age. The anime bears similarities to other reincarnation-themed anime, such as "The Aristocrat's Otherworldly Adventure: Serving Gods Who Go Too Far." Overall, it's a good anime that keeps viewers engaged, with a bit of fan service, decent animation, and a well-defined power system. Whether you watch it while it's airing or binge-watch it later, it promises an enjoyable experience.

5. The Banished Former Hero Lives as He Pleases: Airing on Wednesdays, this anime tells the story of a noble child who was banished from his family due to his low stats in his new life. However, he discovers abilities from his previous life as a hero and decides to live freely, helping those in need along the way. It's perhaps the only anime in this lineup that I couldn't watch continuously, as it seemed a bit boring. However, it's not too bad, and binge-watching might be a better idea than watching it weekly. The animation style also bugged me a little, despite overall good animation. The theme might be different, which could be one of the reasons it fails to hold your interest for long.

6. An Archdemon's Dilemma: How to Love Your Elf Bride: This anime presents a simple yet intriguing story. In a world where sorcerers are often considered evil for kidnapping children and women for sacrifices to grow stronger, there is a sorcerer known as the Archdemon. The story revolves around a sorcerer who, as a child, was almost killed by another sorcerer. Despite lacking any sorcery skills at the time, he managed to kill the assailant and absorb his powers. From that day on, he dedicated himself to learning sorcery to become stronger. One day, he attends a slave bidding and instantly falls in love with an elf, whom he buys with all his fortune. The story follows their life together, offering a blend of romance and action. Despite minimal fan service, the presence of an elf adds a unique dynamic. The anime features good animation, a compelling story, proper pacing, and keeps viewers engaged. Overall, it's worth watching.

7. That Time I Got Reincarnated As A Slime: This anime is entering its third season in April. Most viewers are already familiar with this series and its protagonist, Demon Lord Rimuru. This season continues from where the last left off, exploring the aftermath of Rimuru becoming the True Demon Lord and seizing control of the Kingdom of Falmuth with Diablo. The initial episodes may focus on world-building and appear slow, as characters plan strategies to combat Rimuru. However, the season promises action, adventure, and suspense, maintaining the same animation style as previous seasons. I recommend waiting for about 7-8 episodes before starting to watch, as the initial episodes may feel slow due to the extensive events of the previous seasons. It's advisable to wait for a month or two, or even start from the third cour, as it will consist of 24 episodes.

8. Irregular at Magic High School: This anime will also run its 3rd season. For this, I really don't have much to say. It is a pretty good anime; the first season was really good, but later the story doesn't seem as good in the second season compared to the first. I still have hopes for this anime. For those hearing about it for the first time, it is a world where science and magic are one and the same. The main character has some awesome power; you can say he is the engineer of magic. This anime has some good action and fight scenes, and I'm hoping it will be the same in this season. You may also find some weird relationships beside the action. Overall, it's a good anime, and even better for binge-watching.

9. Misfit of Demon King Academy: Another anime with its second season in this April cour; many of you might know this as the second part of season 2. Recently, it just finished part 1, which, for some reason, was on hiatus after 6 episodes, and the remaining 6 just finished, giving us the second part. Let me introduce you to Anos Voldigoad, the Demon King of tyranny who died 2000 years ago and reincarnated again. In those 2000 years, many things changed, including the name of the Demon King. The first season and the first part of the second season are all about solving its mystery, which is solved in the last part. So, you will be getting a new story from the second part of this season. Good animation with a proper story, but the second season's story was a little boring. But you can expect more from this part, and I'm sure it will be good.

10. Wind Breaker: Wind breaker is another anime with some similarities with Tokyo Revengers, mostly the gang part. As this is the first season, it's too early to decide if it's good or bad. But from the first episode, it looks promising, but the animation style or theme was not to my taste. Still, it has pretty clean animation, and the story is looking good from the first episode. We'll see what it holds for us and will update you on it with full details. So hold on until then.

11. Kaiju No.8: Another new anime and pretty good at that. From the first 2-3 episodes, it really looks promising; from animation to story, everything is going on at a good pace. It's one of the anime that leaves you with a cliffhanger in each episode, making you want the next week to come fast. So, for the story, in this world, there are monsters called Kaiju, which are giant animal-like creatures. To fight them, there is an organization that finds a way to fight and kill these monsters and has a fighting unit with special abilities to destroy them. And, to our surprise, the main character is not the one destroying these Kaiju; he is actually a 32-year-old man who always had a dream to join the defense but never passed the test. Now he works with the cleaning department, dealing with the aftermath of Kaiju and their intestines, hearts, and other matters. He now has the last chance to join the defense force. I will surely recommend this anime; it's one of those anime you don't mind watching multiple times.

There are a few more anime like "The New Gate," "Jobless Reincarnation," and more that I will review soon. You can find them here.
