"Leveling with the Gods" is a story of a regressor who fought formidable foes alongside mythical gods from various pantheons, including Zeus, the Monkey King, and Odin. As a regression-themed story, it begins with everyone losing to beings known as Outer Gods. The tale starts with a Tower appearing in the world, containing 100 floors. Participants fought through the Tower to reach the hundredth floor to clear it, only to later realize that there was a floor beyond the 100th where they encountered the Outer Gods.

In the first chapter, it's shown that they lost to the Outer Gods. Legends like the Monkey King and other gods realized they wouldn't be able to win. After fighting for so long, they decided to use an item that would send the user back in time to when the Tower first appeared, retaining their memories but resetting their powers to that of a normal human. They discussed who would use the item and decided on the main character from Korea, as he was one of the strongest and had killed the most Outer Gods. Thus, the regressor's journey begins, using the knowledge of future events to navigate the challenges ahead.

The characters in this manhwa are well-written, and the regression theme is utilized effectively. The main character shows the attitude and seriousness of his return and makes the best use of the Tower system. Other characters are also well-developed, supporting the story effectively.

A common question is whether the story is similar to "Solo Leveling." While the stories are different, you can see the badass attitude of the shadow monarch in this manhwa, akin to Jinwoo's character.

Good art is crucial for a story's impact, and this manhwa does not disappoint. The art and style suit the story well, and the action scenes are drawn in a way that conveys the intensity effectively.

Overall, "Leveling with the Gods" is a solid story with over 110 chapters and proper pacing. It has some similarities to "Ranker Who Lives a Second Time," but the purposes of the stories are entirely different.

If I were to rate it, I'd give it a 9.0/10. This is a personal rating, and for comparison, "Solo Leveling" is rated 9.3/10, although I've read many better stories than "Solo Leveling." "Leveling with the Gods" is an excellent story if you're looking for something new and won't disappoint you.
