"Tsukimitchi Moonlight" is definitely one of the best isekai anime out there. It follows some typical isekai stuff like the main character having a harem, being super strong, joining an adventurer guild, and all that jazz. But here's the thing, it does all of that in a really good way, with a story that keeps you hooked.

Seriously, the animation is great and the pacing feels just right. It's not too slow or too rushed. They make it easy to understand who's the strongest using a level system, although the main character is crazy strong right from the start, but they explain why.

The characters grow throughout the show, especially the main guy who goes from being clueless to serious. And the way they look and sound fits perfectly with the story, whether you're watching in Japanese or English.

Plus, the action scenes are awesome, and there's never a boring episode in Season 1. And the ending? Some say it's epic, and I totally agree.

Now, if you want a summary with a few spoilers, here goes:

Unlike other isekai where the main character dies before getting transported to another world, this guy just gets teleported out of the blue. No power-ups from the goddess as she thinks he's ugly and takes away his title as hero. Instead, she gives him the power to understand all languages except human. Then, she banishes him to a distant wasteland, away from other people. Where he helps a girl in trouble. She brings him to her village, where he learns about magic and finds out he's only level 1. He learns some magic tricks from her and then fights a dragon to protect her. He wins, and the dragon turns into a human girl and makes a deal with him. Suddenly, he's got this cool demi-plane where they all move to.Another big thing happens when a monster as strong as the dragon attacks which was chasing an elder dwarf. After a tough fight, the monster makes a deal with him and also turns into a woman, like the dragon did. This causes a bunch of demi-humans to move to his demi-plane, which gets bigger as his mana grows.

But there's a hitch. He looks like a demi-human and gives off a weird demon vibe because of his mana. So, he can't just go hang out with humans. Eventually, some dwarves help him out, and he becomes a successful merchant, selling stuff from his demi-plane.

Skipping ahead a bit, he ends up hating this goddess who didn't bless him. But then, she calls him to fight this big demon army, and that's where Season 1 wraps up.
